Simon has been proudly constructing on-site tilt panels since the age of 18 and has never looked back. Since starting with CJB Panels back in 2009 Simon quickly grasped onto the various components that make up a successful tilt panel project (Planning, Safety, Trust, Quality and Time). Simon’s fast learning, hard work ethics and drive soon saw him start another role with DWS Panels in 2011. It was at DWS Panels where Simon through determination and hard work, achieved a role as leading hand to Greg Neil who taught more in depth ‘tricks of the trade’. Simon went on to study part time in 2014 at Gold Coast Institute of TAFE to obtain his Cert IV in Building and Construction as well as his Diploma in Building and Construction, during this same period Simon completed his Cert III in Concreting and became accredited with the QBCC – Low rise Builder. Upon completion of his accreditations Simon achieved the role of Site Supervisor at DWS Panels closely working with Greg Neil and David Symmington (Managing Director) to deliver a wide range of projects from service stations to large industrial developments over the past 2 years. It’s Simon’s passion for the building industry, attention to detail, ability to critique difficult tasks, plan and adapt to situations which allows him to successfully work with and direct all parties involved to successfully deliver a wide range of projects. Simon likes to direct Tilt Constructions QLD from a ‘hands on perspective’.
